Getting Started

Booking an appointment: 

 1.Book your session

  • Contact the clinic directly or kindly fill out our online enquiry form

 2.Once confirmed

  • Receive a reminder email 3 days before your session stating your appointment time

 3. Session link

  • 1 day before your session, another email will contain the link to access your Telehealth video call or phone consultation

 4. Day of your appointment

  • As your appointment approaches, ensure a stable internet connection and find a comfortable, quiet setting 

 

 5.Your session

  • At the scheduled time, simply login using the link sent to your email, and your psychologist will be ready to connect. For the best experience, we suggest using Google Chrome or Firefox

 

Preparing for your first session: 

 

It is perfectly normal to feel a mix of emotions before your first session, and our team of experienced psychologists are here to provide a warm, non-judgemental, supportive space. The first session generally involves a conversation about your current situation and background history. As you start this journey, take a moment to reflect on your thoughts and feelings, identifying specific concerns or goals that you'd like to address.

Therapy, at its core, is a collaborative process - consider what you hope to gain and the ideal outcomes. Your openness is a powerful tool, fostering a deeper understanding and laying the foundation for a personalised and impactful therapeutic journey. Our psychologists are here to support you every step of the way, and your commitment to this process is the first step towards positive change and well-being.

Length of therapy:

 

Navigating the duration of therapy is personalised, and at Crossroads we understand the importance of tailoring our approach to your needs. Following the initial session, you and your psychologist collaboratively determine the frequency of sessions, aligning with your specific goals, schedule, and financial considerations. Typically, sessions commence on a weekly basis, gradually spacing out as you progress in your journey toward improved well-being.
